Purchasing Images

StockFood's entire image collection is available in low-resolution format. Only images with the addition "-HR-" in the caption information are available to purchase in high-resolution.

Downloading (this function is only available for approved clients)

To download an image, first click on the thumbnail image first. Then click on the link which appears above the preview image "Click here to download hi-res image." The image will then be downloaded directly to your computer. A high-resolution file will be 9" x 12" and 350 ppi. For further details please see DIGITAL SERVICES.

File Compression

The downloaded file will be a compressed JPEG file, saved at the maximum quality setting. File need to be compressed due to the enormous size of an uncompressed files. An uncompressed 40mb file would take 1 or more hours to download on most systems. The compressed JPEG file is only about 1mb in size.

Custom Scans

Sometimes our standard file sizes may not be big enough for your project. If this problem does arise, you can call our office at 1-800-967-0229 and ask for the image to be custom scanned. Depending on the dimensions and resolution you have requested, we can usually get a custom scan to you in 1-2 hours.
