Start Your Search

There are several ways to search for images. You can search for images by keyword, image number, photographer, by catalog, by category and by seasonal selection. Start your search by clicking on the search button at the top of the screen or entering either a keyword or image number in the quick search section on the home page.
You can enter a second keyword by typing in the words "and" "or" and "not" after the original keyword. This will narrow your search.

Keyword Search

You can search for images by entering the word or words that best describe what you are looking for. For example, if you are searching for a macaroni dish, but you do not know its specific name, you can simply type in the word macaroni. You can also type in the specific name of an item to find the exact subject that you are looking for.

Image Number Search

StockFood image numbers are six digit numbers that can be found below each image, e.g. 631548. If you know the number of the image that you want to purchase, you can type in that number and that image will appear.

Photographer Search

You can search through the work of a certain photographer by clicking on the scroll bar and choosing which photographer collection you would like to view.

Catalog Search

You can search for images in a certain catalog by clicking on the scroll bar and selecting which catalog you would like to view.

Category Search

Click on the category search button found at the top of the screen to view a list of image categories. Categories are broken up into subcategories, which make it easier to find the subject that you are looking for.

Seasonal Search

Each month StockFood will be featuring a seasonal image selection. To view images in our seasonal selection, click on the seasonal button found in the search category at the top of the screen.

Custom Researches

If you do not find what you need online, click on the custom research button found at the top of the screen under the search category. Fill out the custom research form and e-mail your information directly to us. You can also call us at 1-800-967-0229 in order to speak directly to a StockFood representative.

Narrowing Your Search

Optional display filters give you the option to narrow your search. Click on these boxes to refine your search results. You can filter images by collection, orientation and recipe.

Enlarging Search Results

Once you have registered, you can enlarge your search results to comp sized images (72 pixels per inch). You can do this by single clicking on the image.

Saving Your Search Results

If you are on a PC you can save a comp-sized image by right clicking on the image and saving the image to the program of your choice. If you are on a Mac you can save a comp-sized image by holding down the mouse button and saving the image to the program of your choice.
